Creating and managing your account

Learn how to create and manage your Cuddle account, keep your information current, protect your login details, manage your preferences, and get help with account-related concerns.

Your Cuddle account allows you to create and maintain a profile, use available discovery, matching, and messaging functionality, manage account settings, and access reporting, safety, security, and support tools.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and taking reasonable steps to protect your account.

Creating your account

To create or set up a Cuddle account, you may be asked to provide information reasonably necessary to:

  • provide and operate the Service;

  • confirm eligibility;

  • support account quality;

  • protect members and the community;

  • prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access;

  • maintain account security; or

  • communicate with you.

Depending on the registration process and available functionality, this may include:

  • contact information;

  • age-related or other basic eligibility information;

  • profile information;

  • profile photos, where required or supported;

  • account settings;

  • communication preferences;

  • login or authentication information; and

  • other information identified during account setup.

You must provide information that is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.

Do not use another person’s identity, contact information, photos, account, login credentials, or payment information without authorization.

Creating an account, confirming an email address or phone number, completing a profile, or receiving access to Cuddle does not mean that Cuddle has verified, screened, endorsed, approved, or guaranteed you or the information you provide.

Managing your profile

You may be able to update your profile information, photos, preferences, and other account settings through your account.

Keep material information reasonably current. Your profile must be accurate, respectful, and consistent with Cuddle’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable policies.

Depending on account status, feature availability, technical limitations, or safety and moderation requirements, certain profile changes may:

  • be reviewed before publication;

  • take time to appear;

  • be temporarily delayed;

  • require additional information;

  • be restricted; or

  • be unavailable.

Some eligibility-related or security-sensitive account fields may not be directly editable.

If you believe that material account information is incorrect and you cannot update it through your account, contact Cuddle using the appropriate support or privacy channel.

Account quality review

Cuddle may review accounts, profiles, photos, account activity, and related information where reasonably necessary to support:

  • account quality;

  • eligibility review;

  • safety;

  • moderation;

  • fraud prevention;

  • payment-risk management;

  • account security;

  • Service integrity; or

  • compliance with applicable policies or law.

Not every account is subject to every type of review.

Where reasonably necessary, Cuddle may request additional information or require an account-ownership, identity-document, government-ID, photo, or selfie review through an authenticated review process made available by Cuddle.

Do not send identity-document images, government identification, passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card details, bank credentials, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email, member messages, profile fields, or unofficial links.

An account review, profile review, photo review, badge, account indicator, safety tool, or support response does not guarantee another member’s:

  • identity;

  • age;

  • location;

  • relationship status;

  • intentions;

  • background;

  • truthfulness;

  • safety; or

  • future conduct.

Continue to use your own judgment and the available reporting, blocking, unmatching, and safety tools.

Keep your account secure

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and login credentials.

To help protect your account:

  • use a strong and unique password;

  • protect access to your email account and phone number;

  • do not share your password or authentication codes;

  • do not allow another person to use your account;

  • sign out after using a shared or public device;

  • review links carefully before opening them;

  • use only official Cuddle pages and contact channels; and

  • contact Cuddle promptly if you notice suspicious activity.

Do not enter your password, payment information, authentication code, verification code, or other sensitive information into a link sent by another member or displayed on an unofficial page.

Cuddle will not ask you to disclose your password through a member message.

One account per person

Unless Cuddle authorizes otherwise in writing, you may maintain only one Cuddle account at a time.

Your account is personal to you.

You may not:

  • create or operate an account for another person;

  • allow another person to use your account;

  • use another person’s account;

  • sell, rent, share, assign, transfer, trade, license, broker, lend, or otherwise make your account available to another person or entity;

  • create or maintain duplicate accounts to obtain additional access, benefits, promotions, or allowances;

  • create another account to evade an account restriction, review, suspension, termination, payment-method block, safety control, or enforcement action; or

  • create, obtain, or operate accounts for resale, account farming, credential sharing, fraud, scraping, commercial solicitation, prohibited payments, or another unauthorized purpose.

An exception may apply only through a process expressly authorized by Cuddle or required by law, such as an approved accessibility, account-recovery, estate, or authorized-agent process.

You may not sell, transfer, trade, broker, share, or otherwise make available:

  • your profile;

  • login credentials;

  • messaging access;

  • Premium access;

  • promotional or complimentary access;

  • account-review status;

  • an account indicator; or

  • another account-related feature or benefit.

If Cuddle reasonably believes that multiple accounts are connected to the same person or are being used to avoid a rule or restriction, Cuddle may review, link, restrict, suspend, or terminate the related accounts where permitted by law.

Managing preferences

You may be able to manage certain account settings and preferences through your account or through controls made available by Cuddle.

Depending on availability, these may include:

  • communication preferences;

  • account settings;

  • profile settings;

  • visibility-related settings;

  • privacy choices;

  • cookie choices; and

  • other available controls.

Changing a setting may affect how particular features operate.

Some communications may still be sent where reasonably necessary to provide the Service, protect an account, process a request or purchase, provide a legal notice, or comply with applicable law.

If something looks wrong

Contact Cuddle promptly if:

  • you cannot access your account;

  • you believe someone accessed your account without permission;

  • your password or login information may have been compromised;

  • you received an authentication or verification message that you did not request;

  • your profile or account information appears incorrect;

  • you notice suspicious or unauthorized activity;

  • you believe another person is using your information or photos;

  • you need help changing account information; or

  • you believe your account was restricted or changed in error.

When contacting Cuddle, provide enough information for the appropriate team to locate and review the issue.

Do not send your password, authentication codes, complete payment-card details, bank credentials, identity-document images, government identification, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email.

Cuddle may provide separate instructions or an authenticated review process where additional information is reasonably necessary.
