Profile photos and profile information

Learn how profile photos and profile information work on Cuddle, what you may include, what you should avoid, who may see your information, and why content may be reviewed or removed.

Your Cuddle profile helps other members understand who you are and how you choose to participate in the Service.

Depending on your account status, settings, and feature availability, you may be able to add or update profile details, photos, prompts, interests, preferences, and other account information.

Your profile must be accurate, respectful, lawful, and consistent with Cuddle’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.

What to include in your profile

Your profile may include information such as:

  • your display name or profile name;

  • profile photos, where required or supported;

  • profile prompts or biography information;

  • interests and lifestyle information;

  • relationship or marital-status information you choose to provide;

  • your displayed age and profile location;

  • discovery or connection preferences;

  • information you choose to share with other members; and

  • other profile details made available through the Service.

Use only your own identity, photos, and information.

Information you provide must be accurate, current, complete, and not materially misleading.

Do not misrepresent your:

  • age;

  • identity;

  • location or residency;

  • relationship or marital status;

  • availability;

  • intentions;

  • background;

  • affiliation;

  • account ownership;

  • review status; or

  • authority to use any photo or other content.

If information becomes materially inaccurate, outdated, unauthorized, or misleading, update or remove it as soon as reasonably possible.

Profile photos

Cuddle may require or support one or more profile photos to help support account quality, respectful participation, safety, moderation, and Service integrity.

A profile photo should reasonably represent you and must not create a materially false or misleading impression about your identity or appearance.

You may upload a photo only if:

  • it is your photo or you otherwise have all necessary rights and permissions to use it;

  • its use does not violate another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights;

  • it does not depict or identify a minor;

  • it is not pornographic or sexually explicit;

  • it is not non-consensual intimate content;

  • it is not unlawful, threatening, hateful, violent, harassing, exploitative, or deceptive;

  • it does not contain prohibited payment, commercial, or solicitation information; and

  • it otherwise complies with Cuddle’s applicable policies.

Do not use:

  • another person’s photo or likeness without lawful authority;

  • a stolen or copied photo;

  • a celebrity, public figure, stock image, fictional identity, or other image in a way that impersonates or materially misleads;

  • a fabricated screenshot or altered record;

  • an image that falsely suggests Cuddle verification, endorsement, approval, or safety clearance; or

  • an image that directs members to prohibited content, services, payments, or commercial activity.

Edited, filtered, or generated images

Ordinary cropping, lighting correction, or non-deceptive cosmetic editing is not prohibited solely because the photo was edited.

However, you may not use an edited, filtered, synthetic, AI-generated, or otherwise manipulated image in a way that materially misrepresents:

  • who you are;

  • your appearance;

  • another person;

  • a real event;

  • an account or communication;

  • a review or account status; or

  • another material fact.

Your profile must not create a false impression of authenticity, identity, verification, endorsement, or conduct.

Information not to include

Do not place highly sensitive information in your profile, display name, prompts, captions, photos, image text, or other ordinary Service fields.

This includes:

  • passwords;

  • authentication or verification codes;

  • full payment-card information;

  • bank-account credentials;

  • identity-document images;

  • government identification;

  • private keys or wallet credentials;

  • medical records;

  • information about minors;

  • home or work addresses;

  • precise real-time location;

  • detailed travel plans;

  • another person’s private information; or

  • other information that could create a material privacy, security, fraud, or safety risk.

Be cautious about including personal contact information, workplace information, social-media details, or information that could allow another person to locate or identify you outside Cuddle.

No payment, commercial, or prohibited-service information

Your profile may not be used to request, advertise, arrange, promote, disguise, or direct members to:

  • payments or transfers of value;

  • paid dates or paid meetings;

  • compensated dating;

  • sugar arrangements;

  • escort or sexual services;

  • paid companionship;

  • adult-content monetization;

  • commercial solicitation;

  • fundraising;

  • recruitment;

  • external checkout;

  • a marketplace;

  • another paid platform; or

  • another activity prohibited by Cuddle’s policies.

Do not include:

  • prices or rates;

  • payment handles;

  • bank-transfer instructions;

  • wallet addresses;

  • QR codes;

  • gift-card requests;

  • fundraising links;

  • wishlists;

  • external checkout links;

  • creator or seller pages;

  • booking terms; or

  • coded references intended to conceal a payment or prohibited arrangement.

Ordinary, lawful personal information about your work or interests is not prohibited solely because it relates to a business or profession. However, Cuddle may not be used primarily to advertise, solicit, recruit, transact, or commercially exploit another member.

Information visible to other members

Depending on Service functionality, your settings, account status, and actions, profile information may be displayed through:

  • your profile;

  • profile discovery;

  • Incoming Likes;

  • Likes;

  • Matches;

  • messaging;

  • photo-sharing functionality; or

  • other available Service features.

Information collected solely for account security, payment risk, support, fraud prevention, moderation, or a limited account review is not automatically displayed on your member-facing profile.

Cuddle does not guarantee that:

  • every profile will be visible to every member;

  • every profile change will appear immediately;

  • your profile will receive a particular number of views;

  • another member will view or respond to your profile; or

  • profile information will remain available after an account restriction, deletion, block, unmatch, or feature change.

Be careful about what you share

Other members may be able to copy, save, photograph, screenshot, record, forward, publish, disclose, or misuse information or content they view or receive.

Cuddle may prohibit or restrict that conduct, but Cuddle cannot control every recipient, device, external platform, or off-Service disclosure.

Before sharing information or photos, consider whether you would be comfortable with the recipient retaining or disclosing them outside Cuddle.

Do not share intimate content, financial information, identity documents, authentication information, or other highly sensitive material through your profile or ordinary Cuddle communications.

Photo sharing controls

Where supported, Cuddle may provide gallery or photo-sharing controls that allow you to choose which members may view certain photos.

These controls govern ordinary visibility within the Service. They do not prevent an authorized recipient from:

  • taking a screenshot or photograph;

  • saving or recording the content;

  • forwarding or publishing it;

  • displaying it on another device;

  • disclosing it outside Cuddle; or

  • misusing it in violation of Cuddle’s policies or applicable law.

Removing a member’s access, blocking or unmatching the member, removing a photo, or deleting your account may restrict future in-Service access. It may not remove copies already received, saved, recorded, screenshotted, forwarded, or disclosed.

Pornographic or sexually explicit photos and videos are prohibited even when shared privately, consensually, without payment, or through a restricted gallery.

Profile and photo review

Cuddle may review profiles, photos, captions, prompts, image text, account activity, reports, and related information where reasonably necessary to support:

  • account quality;

  • safety;

  • moderation;

  • fraud prevention;

  • payment-risk management;

  • account security;

  • legal compliance; or

  • Service integrity.

Depending on the circumstances, Cuddle may:

  • delay publication;

  • request a correction;

  • reject or remove a photo;

  • remove or restrict profile information;

  • blur, label, or limit content;

  • limit profile visibility or discovery;

  • restrict Likes, Matches, messaging, uploads, checkout, or Premium;

  • require an additional account review; or

  • restrict, suspend, or terminate an account.

Cuddle does not guarantee that every profile or photo will be reviewed, correctly classified, approved, removed, preserved, restored, or made available.

A profile photo, profile review, badge, account indicator, safety tool, or continued access does not guarantee another member’s:

  • identity;

  • age;

  • location;

  • relationship status;

  • ownership of a photo;

  • authenticity;

  • intentions;

  • background;

  • truthfulness;

  • safety; or

  • future conduct.

Continue to use your own judgment and available reporting, blocking, unmatching, and safety tools.

Profile photos and account-review photos are different

A profile photo is User Content submitted for display or use through the Service.

A limited Photo or Selfie Review is a separate account-review process that Cuddle may request in limited, risk-based circumstances, such as a suspected impersonation, scam, fraud, account-ownership issue, safety concern, account-recovery request, or material eligibility concern.

Cuddle does not routinely require an identity-document review, government-ID review, or Photo or Selfie Review for every user during ordinary registration.

Where Cuddle requests review materials:

  • follow the specific instructions provided by Cuddle;

  • use only the authenticated review flow made available through the Service; and

  • do not submit the materials through ordinary email, member messages, profile fields, reports, appeals, or mail.

Completing a review does not create a guarantee of identity, age, account ownership, background, truthfulness, or safety.

Updating or removing profile information

You may be able to update or remove profile information and photos through your account.

A change may be reviewed, delayed, restricted, or unavailable because of:

  • account status;

  • safety or moderation requirements;

  • fraud-prevention or payment-risk controls;

  • technical limitations;

  • legal requirements; or

  • Service integrity concerns.

Removing information from active display may not remove:

  • copies retained by another member;

  • screenshots or recordings;

  • messages or shared conversations;

  • reports or evidence;

  • safety, moderation, or support records;

  • fraud-prevention or payment-risk records;

  • legal or compliance records;

  • logs, caches, archives, or backups; or

  • information Cuddle is permitted or required to retain.

For more information about retention and deletion, review Cuddle’s Privacy Policy.

Reporting a profile or photo

Use Cuddle’s available reporting tools if you believe a profile or photo:

  • impersonates you or another person;

  • uses a stolen or unauthorized image;

  • depicts or involves a minor;

  • contains sexually explicit or non-consensual intimate content;

  • includes threats, harassment, hate, or private information;

  • promotes a scam, payment request, or prohibited service;

  • infringes intellectual-property or publicity rights; or

  • otherwise violates Cuddle’s policies.

Do not continue communicating or put yourself or another person at risk to collect additional evidence.

Cuddle’s reporting and support channels are not emergency-response services and may not be monitored in real time.

If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
