Cuddle may review accounts, profiles, content, activity, reports, and related information where reasonably necessary to support account quality, eligibility, safety, moderation, account security, fraud prevention, payment-risk management, legal compliance, or Service integrity.
Account quality review is one of the ways Cuddle works to identify and address potentially inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized activity.
Not every account, profile, photo, message, purchase, or interaction is reviewed. A review may be limited to a particular concern, record, feature, transaction, report, or period of activity.
Why Cuddle may review an account
Cuddle may review an account or related activity to help:
confirm that account information appears complete and consistent;
assess age or other eligibility requirements;
confirm account ownership or control;
review a profile, profile photo, prompt, caption, or other User Content;
identify potentially fake, duplicate, impersonating, misleading, or coordinated accounts;
investigate suspected account farming, credential sharing, or restriction evasion;
respond to a report, complaint, appeal, privacy request, support request, or legal request;
investigate suspected harassment, threats, exploitation, scams, fraud, prohibited payments, or prohibited services;
address suspicious login, device, browser, session, or account activity;
protect account security and support account recovery;
support fraud-prevention or payment-risk controls;
review suspicious checkout, billing, payment-method, refund, or chargeback activity;
enforce Cuddle’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable policies;
comply with applicable law or a lawful request; or
protect Cuddle, its members, payment participants, service providers, or other persons.
A review may occur before, during, or after account creation, profile publication, Service use, checkout, a purchase, a report, a support request, or another interaction with Cuddle.
What Cuddle may review
Depending on the purpose and circumstances, Cuddle may review information associated with an account, including:
registration and eligibility information;
profile information;
profile photos and other User Content;
display names, profile names, prompts, captions, and preferences;
account email addresses or phone numbers;
email-confirmation or phone-verification status;
date-of-birth or age-related information;
account history and account settings;
Likes, Matches, blocks, unmatches, and related activity;
messages or other content reasonably relevant to a report, safety issue, support request, moderation matter, or legal obligation;
reports, complaints, appeals, and support communications;
safety, moderation, account-security, and fraud-prevention signals;
device, browser, IP-address, approximate-location, session, or login information;
information suggesting that accounts, devices, sessions, payment methods, or other records may be related;
checkout, purchase, billing, payment-method, refund, chargeback, or payment-dispute information;
records associated with prior restrictions, suspensions, terminations, or review requests; and
other information reasonably necessary for the particular review.
Cuddle does not necessarily review every available category for every account or every concern.
Ordinary account quality review
Many account quality reviews can be conducted using information already associated with the account or Service activity.
An ordinary account quality review may involve reviewing:
whether required account or profile information is complete;
whether profile information appears internally consistent;
whether a profile photo appears to comply with Cuddle’s policies;
whether an account appears duplicative, misleading, compromised, or connected to prohibited activity;
whether a report or support request is consistent with available account records;
whether activity suggests spam, fraud, abuse, account takeover, or restriction evasion; or
whether additional information or action is reasonably necessary.
An ordinary account quality review does not necessarily require an identity document, government identification, photo, or selfie.
Limited additional review
Cuddle does not routinely require an Identity-Document Review, Government-ID Review, or Photo or Selfie Review for every member or as part of ordinary registration.
In limited, risk-based circumstances, Cuddle may request an additional review where reasonably necessary to investigate or address matters such as:
suspected impersonation;
suspected scams or fraud;
potentially false age or eligibility information;
suspected account farming or coordinated account activity;
unauthorized access or account-recovery concerns;
suspected use of another person’s identity, photos, payment method, or account;
payment risk or disputed payment authority;
prohibited commercial solicitation;
a material safety concern;
account integrity;
legal or privacy compliance;
moderation;
enforcement; or
another material risk that cannot reasonably be resolved using available account information.
Depending on the circumstances, an additional review may involve:
confirmation of an email address;
confirmation of a phone number by SMS;
confirmation of date-of-birth or age-related information;
support-based account-ownership review;
Identity-Document Review;
Government-ID Review; or
Photo or Selfie Review.
Not every user is subject to every review, and not every review requires every type of information.
How to submit requested review materials
Submit review materials only when Cuddle specifically requests them and provides an authenticated review flow through the Service.
Follow the instructions shown in that review flow and provide only the information reasonably requested for the particular review.
Do not submit identity-document images, government identification, Photo or Selfie Review materials, passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card details, bank credentials, private keys, wallet credentials, medical records, information about minors, or other highly sensitive information through:
ordinary email;
member messages;
profile fields;
general support forms;
reports;
appeals;
invite-request forms;
unofficial links; or
postal mail.
Cuddle may be unable to use or securely process materials submitted through an unauthorized channel.
If you receive a suspicious request for sensitive information, do not respond through the provided link. Contact Cuddle through an official channel.
If your account is under review
While a review is pending, incomplete, declined, expired, or otherwise unresolved, some Service functionality may be delayed, restricted, or unavailable.
Depending on the issue, Cuddle may:
request additional information;
ask you to confirm account information;
ask you to update or correct profile information;
ask you to remove or replace content;
delay profile publication or a profile change;
limit profile visibility or discovery;
restrict Likes, Matches, messaging, uploads, or photo sharing;
require a password reset or another account-security step;
revoke active sessions;
delay or decline checkout;
restrict Premium access or a payment method;
preserve relevant records;
keep the account under review; or
take another action permitted by Cuddle’s policies or applicable law.
Do not create another account, use another person’s account, change devices or payment methods, misrepresent your location or identity, or use another workaround to evade a review or restriction.
Providing requested information does not guarantee review completion, account approval, restoration, Premium access, checkout approval, or any particular outcome.
Possible review outcomes
Depending on the available information and applicable policies, Cuddle may:
take no further action;
approve or complete the review;
restore previously limited functionality;
request more information;
require a profile or account correction;
remove or restrict content;
issue a warning;
limit particular features;
restrict checkout or a payment method;
temporarily restrict or suspend an account;
permanently terminate an account;
link or restrict related accounts;
block re-registration;
preserve relevant records;
cooperate with lawful authorities where appropriate; or
take another action permitted by law.
Cuddle may be unable to provide every internal detail, risk signal, security method, investigative step, report, or confidential record associated with a review.
Nothing in this article limits a refund, cancellation, privacy, appeal, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, payment-dispute, or other right that cannot lawfully be waived.
What account quality review does not guarantee
Account quality review has limits.
An account, profile, profile photo, email confirmation, phone-number confirmation, review result, badge, account indicator, Premium purchase, active Premium period, safety tool, moderation action, or support response does not guarantee another member’s:
identity;
age;
location;
relationship or marital status;
account ownership;
ownership of a photo;
intentions;
background;
criminal history;
sex-offender status;
payment authority;
truthfulness;
compatibility;
safety; or
future conduct.
An Identity-Document Review, Government-ID Review, or Photo or Selfie Review is limited to its stated purpose. It is not, by itself:
a criminal background check;
a sex-offender-registry check;
a relationship-status check;
a comprehensive personal investigation;
a comprehensive identity verification;
an endorsement;
a certification; or
a safety clearance.
Cuddle does not conduct criminal background checks or sex-offender-registry checks on every member.
Most members are not expected to undergo criminal background screening before creating an account, viewing profiles, sending or receiving Likes, forming Matches, messaging, purchasing Premium, or continuing to use the Service.
Continue to use your own judgment, protect your personal information, respect boundaries, and use available reporting, blocking, and unmatching tools when needed.
If you believe there is a mistake
If you believe your account was reviewed, limited, suspended, or changed by mistake, follow any review or appeal instructions included in the notice you received.
Otherwise, contact Cuddle with a clear explanation of the issue.
Include information reasonably needed to locate and assess the matter, such as:
the email address associated with your account;
your profile name;
the approximate date of the review or restriction;
the feature or activity affected;
any notice or reference number provided by Cuddle; and
a brief explanation of why you believe the action may be incorrect.
Do not send your password, authentication codes, complete payment-card information, bank credentials, identity-document images, government identification, Photo or Selfie Review materials, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email.
If additional information is reasonably necessary, Cuddle may provide separate instructions or an authenticated review flow.
Submitting a support request or appeal does not guarantee restoration, reversal, completion within a particular period, or a particular outcome.
