Cuddle allows eligible members to discover profiles, express interest through Likes, form Matches, and message matched members.
A Match is formed when the Service indicates that two members have mutually Liked each other.
Whether a Like is available through Free Access or requires Premium depends on whether the other member has already sent you an Incoming Like.
Key matching terms
Incoming Like
An “Incoming Like” is a Like another member has already sent to you.
Eligible members may review Incoming Likes and view the profiles of the members who sent them through Free Access, subject to account status and applicable restrictions.
After reviewing an Incoming Like, you may be able to:
send a Like Back;
pass;
block the member;
report a concern; or
take another action made available through the Service.
An Incoming Like does not guarantee that the other member remains active, eligible, available, interested, truthful, or able to Match or communicate.
Like Back
A “Like Back” is a Like you send to a member who has already sent you an Incoming Like.
Sending a Like Back is included in eligible Free Access and does not require Premium solely because it creates a Match.
If you send a Like Back, the two members have mutually Liked each other and the Service may form a Match.
First Like
A “First Like” is a Like you initiate toward a member who has not already sent you an Incoming Like.
Sending a First Like requires:
active Premium; or
another form of First-Like access expressly authorized by Cuddle.
Active Premium currently permits an eligible member to send up to ten (10) First Likes per day, subject to the applicable daily reset schedule, remaining allowance, account status, technical availability, safety controls, moderation, anti-spam controls, and other applicable restrictions.
If you do not have the required First-Like access, Cuddle may display a Premium notice, paywall, or limit notice.
Match
A “Match” is formed when the Service indicates that two members have mutually Liked each other.
A Match may result when:
another member sends you an Incoming Like and you send that member a Like Back; or
you send a First Like and the receiving member sends you a Like Back.
A Match may permit the matched members to message each other through the Service where messaging is available.
Matched-Member Messaging
“Matched-Member Messaging” means in-Service messaging between members who have formed a Match.
Matched-Member Messaging is included in eligible Free Access without a plan-based message-count limit.
This does not mean messaging is unrestricted. Messaging remains subject to:
the Match remaining available;
account status;
blocks and unmatches;
anti-spam and rate limits;
technical capacity;
safety rules;
moderation;
fraud-prevention controls;
payment-risk controls;
applicable law; and
Cuddle’s Terms and policies.
How a Match is formed
When another member has already Liked you
If another member has already sent you an Incoming Like:
The Incoming Like may appear in the applicable Likes You or similar view.
You may review the member’s profile through eligible Free Access.
You may decide whether to pass or send a Like Back.
If you send a Like Back, the Service may form a Match.
The matched members may then use Matched-Member Messaging where available.
Premium is not required solely to:
identify an eligible member who sent you an Incoming Like;
view that member’s profile;
send that member a Like Back;
form the resulting Match; or
message that matched member.
When you want to send the first Like
If the other member has not already sent you an Incoming Like:
You may discover and review the member’s profile where available.
A Like you initiate toward that member is classified as a First Like.
Sending the First Like requires active Premium or other First-Like access authorized by Cuddle.
The receiving member may review the Incoming Like through eligible Free Access.
If the receiving member sends a Like Back, the Service may form a Match.
The matched members may then use Matched-Member Messaging where available.
Premium does not require the receiving member to view, retain, or respond to a First Like.
Can I form a Match with Free Access?
Yes.
Eligible Free Access currently includes:
browsing and viewing available profiles;
reviewing Incoming Likes;
viewing the profiles of members who sent them;
sending Likes Back;
forming Matches; and
messaging matched members.
Premium is not required solely because a Like Back creates a Match.
Messaging with a matched member also does not require Premium solely because the Match began with a First Like sent by a Premium member.
What does Premium change?
Cuddle’s current purchased Premium provides First-Like functionality.
While Premium is active, an eligible member may send up to ten (10) First Likes per day, subject to the applicable limits and restrictions.
Premium does not control access to:
Incoming Likes;
the profiles of members who sent Incoming Likes;
Likes Back;
Matches; or
Matched-Member Messaging.
Those functions remain part of eligible Free Access.
Premium is account-level digital functionality provided by Cuddle. It is not payment for access to a particular member and does not purchase, reserve, unlock, prioritize, compensate, verify, protect, or obtain another person.
Premium does not require another member to:
view your profile;
receive or view your First Like;
send a Like Back;
form a Match;
send a message;
reply;
continue communicating;
share information or photos;
meet you; or
take another action.
Current Premium pricing, access periods, First-Like limits, reset information, and other material terms are shown on the Cuddle Access & Pricing page, at checkout, in applicable product disclosures, or in purchase records.
Does the matching rule differ by gender?
No.
Cuddle does not use a member’s:
sex;
gender identity;
sexual orientation; or
the gender or genders the member wants to meet
to determine whether Premium is required for a Like.
The same Like-related access rule applies to eligible members:
if the other member has already sent you an Incoming Like, your Like is a Like Back available through eligible Free Access; and
if the other member has not already sent you an Incoming Like, your Like is a First Like requiring active Premium or other First-Like access authorized by Cuddle.
This does not require Cuddle to disregard member preferences, eligibility requirements, blocks, account restrictions, safety controls, moderation, legal requirements, or technical limitations.
What happens when Premium expires?
When purchased Premium expires, First-Like access ends unless you have another form of First-Like access authorized by Cuddle.
Premium expiration does not, by itself:
remove an existing Match;
delete an existing conversation;
remove an eligible Incoming Like;
prevent you from sending an eligible Like Back; or
prevent eligible Matched-Member Messaging through Free Access.
A separate block, unmatch, account deletion, account restriction, moderation action, safety action, technical limitation, or termination may still affect a Match or conversation.
Continued purchased Premium access requires a new checkout and separate payment authorization. Premium does not automatically renew.
Profile discovery and preferences
Cuddle may allow you to manage certain discovery or connection preferences where supported.
Profile discovery and matching availability may depend on factors such as:
your eligibility and account status;
another member’s eligibility and account status;
member preferences;
available profiles;
location information;
blocks and unmatches;
account-quality controls;
safety and moderation controls;
anti-spam and fraud-prevention controls;
technical capacity;
device or browser compatibility;
product configuration;
legal requirements; and
Service availability.
Cuddle does not guarantee that:
every available profile will be displayed to you;
your profile will be displayed to every eligible member;
every preference will be available or applied in every situation;
profiles will appear in a particular order;
another member will remain available;
a particular member will see your profile or Like; or
changing a preference will result in additional Likes or Matches.
Why a Like or Match may be unavailable
An Incoming Like, Like Back, First Like, profile, or Match may be delayed, restricted, reversed, removed, or become unavailable for reasons including:
a member passed, blocked, or unmatched;
a member deleted or closed an account;
a member became ineligible or unavailable;
an account was restricted, suspended, or terminated;
a profile or Like violated Cuddle’s policies;
a safety, moderation, fraud-prevention, or account-quality control applied;
a First-Like allowance was exhausted;
required Premium or other First-Like access was not active;
a technical or synchronization issue occurred;
the Service was updated or reconfigured; or
applicable law or another legal requirement applied.
Cuddle may use account, Like, Match, block, moderation, safety, and technical records reasonably necessary to determine whether an action is an Incoming Like, Like Back, First Like, or Match.
A Like may also fail or not create a Match because the other member did not send a Like Back.
Why am I not receiving Matches?
There may be many reasons why you are not receiving Matches.
For example:
fewer profiles may currently be available under your settings;
your profile may be incomplete or under review;
your preferences may be narrow;
another member may not have viewed or responded to your Like;
another member may have passed;
you may not have sent any eligible Likes;
your First-Like allowance may have been reached;
your account or a feature may be restricted;
safety, moderation, or anti-spam controls may apply;
technical issues may affect discovery or Likes; or
Cuddle may be testing, updating, or changing functionality.
Cuddle does not guarantee profile views, Incoming Likes, Likes Back, First Likes, Matches, messages, replies, conversations, meetings, dates, relationships, compatibility, or any particular outcome.
A Match does not create an obligation
A Match indicates mutual use of Cuddle’s Like functionality at that time. It does not create a contract, commitment, promise, endorsement, or continuing consent between members.
A Match does not require another member to:
send or answer a message;
continue a conversation;
explain why they stopped responding;
share personal information;
share contact details;
share photos or intimate content;
move communication outside Cuddle;
meet in person;
provide transportation;
provide companionship or intimacy;
make or receive a payment;
purchase anything; or
begin or continue a relationship.
Another member may change their mind, stop replying, unmatch, block, report, or end contact at any time.
Respect silence, declined requests, changed boundaries, blocking, and unmatching.
Do not use another account, person, phone number, email address, social-media account, or external platform to bypass a block, unmatch, account restriction, or clearly stated boundary.
A Match is not a payment or commercial arrangement
A Match and Matched-Member Messaging are Cuddle Service functions. They do not authorize:
user-to-user payments;
fees for Likes, Matches, messages, replies, meetings, dates, or companionship;
compensated dating;
sugar arrangements;
escort or sexual services;
adult-content monetization;
commercial solicitation;
external checkout;
payment facilitation; or
another activity prohibited by Cuddle’s policies.
Premium payments are made to Cuddle for Cuddle-operated digital functionality. They are not payments to or for another member.
If another member asks for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, a deposit, a fee, financial credentials, or another transfer of value, do not proceed. Use the available reporting and blocking tools.
Unmatching, blocking, and reporting
Where supported, either member may unmatch, block, or report a concern.
Unmatching or blocking may restrict or end future in-Service communication between the affected accounts.
Do not create another account or use another communication method to evade an unmatch, block, safety control, or account restriction.
Use Cuddle’s reporting tools if you believe a member is involved in:
harassment or threats;
impersonation;
scams or fraud;
prohibited payment requests;
prohibited services;
exploitation or blackmail;
minor-safety concerns;
non-consensual content;
stalking or unwanted contact; or
another violation of Cuddle’s policies.
You do not need Premium to submit a safety report or block another member.
A Match is not a safety check
A Match does not mean that Cuddle has fully verified, screened, endorsed, approved, or guaranteed either member.
A profile, Incoming Like, Like Back, First Like, Match, message, photo, account review, badge, account indicator, Premium purchase, safety tool, or support response does not guarantee another member’s:
identity;
age;
location;
relationship or marital status;
ownership of a photo;
account ownership;
background;
criminal history;
sex-offender status;
intentions;
truthfulness;
compatibility;
safety; or
future conduct.
Cuddle does not conduct criminal background checks or sex-offender-registry checks on every member.
Use your own judgment, protect sensitive information, move at a pace that feels comfortable, respect boundaries, and use the available reporting, blocking, unmatching, and safety tools.
