When a Match is available, the matched members may use Cuddle’s in-Service messaging functionality where supported.
Messaging is intended to help eligible adults communicate through Cuddle at a respectful pace.
A Match or message does not guarantee that another member will reply, continue communicating, share information, move off Cuddle, meet, or take any other action.
Who can I message?
You may message another member through Cuddle when:
the Service indicates that you and the other member have formed a Match;
the Match remains available;
both accounts remain eligible and permitted to use messaging;
neither member has blocked or unmatched the other;
messaging is technically available; and
no applicable account, safety, moderation, anti-spam, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, or legal restriction prevents messaging.
A Match generally means that two members have mutually Liked each other.
A Match may form when:
another member sends you an Incoming Like and you send that member a Like Back; or
you send a First Like and the receiving member sends you a Like Back.
A profile view, Incoming Like, Like Back, or First Like does not by itself permit messaging unless a Match is formed and messaging is available.
Does messaging require Premium?
No.
Messaging with matched members is included in eligible Free Access.
Premium is not required solely to:
review an Incoming Like;
view the profile of the member who sent the Incoming Like;
send a Like Back;
form a Match; or
message a matched member.
Premium currently provides First-Like functionality. An eligible member with active Premium may send up to ten (10) First Likes per day, subject to applicable limits and restrictions.
Premium does not provide a separate category of paid messaging and does not require the other member to reply.
Messaging remains available through eligible Free Access regardless of whether the Match resulted from:
a Free Access Like Back; or
a First Like sent through Premium.
What does “no plan-based message-count limit” mean?
Matched-Member Messaging is available without a plan-based message-count limit.
This means Cuddle does not assign a separate number of matched-member messages based solely on whether your account has Free Access or Premium.
It does not mean that messaging is unrestricted in every respect.
Messaging may still be subject to:
an active Match;
account eligibility;
account status;
blocks and unmatches;
anti-spam controls;
anti-abuse controls;
rate limits;
link or attachment restrictions;
technical capacity;
safety rules;
moderation;
fraud-prevention controls;
payment-risk controls;
product configuration;
legal requirements; and
Cuddle’s applicable terms and policies.
Cuddle may delay, filter, limit, block, remove, preserve, or make a message unavailable where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable terms and law.
What happens when Premium expires?
Premium expiration does not, by itself:
remove an existing Match;
delete an existing conversation;
prevent you from reviewing an eligible Incoming Like;
prevent you from sending an eligible Like Back; or
prevent eligible messaging with an existing matched member.
After Premium expires, you may lose the ability to send new First Likes unless you have another form of First-Like access expressly authorized by Cuddle.
A Match or conversation may still become unavailable for another reason, including:
either member unmatching;
either member blocking the other;
account deletion;
account ineligibility;
an account restriction, suspension, or termination;
a safety or moderation action;
anti-spam or fraud-prevention controls;
a technical issue;
a feature change; or
applicable law.
Continued purchased Premium access requires a new checkout transaction and separate payment authorization. Premium does not automatically renew.
A Match does not create an obligation to reply
A Match indicates mutual use of Cuddle’s Like functionality at a particular time.
It does not create a promise, contract, commitment, continuing consent, or obligation between members.
Another member does not owe you:
a message;
a reply;
an explanation;
immediate attention;
continued communication;
personal information;
contact information;
photos;
intimate content;
off-Service communication;
a phone or video call;
a meeting;
transportation;
companionship;
intimacy;
a payment; or
a relationship.
Another member may:
reply later;
stop responding;
change their mind;
decline a request;
unmatch;
block;
report a concern; or
end contact at any time.
Respect silence, delayed replies, changed boundaries, declined requests, blocking, and unmatching.
Do not demand a reply because you:
sent a First Like;
formed a Match;
purchased Premium;
sent one or more messages;
shared information or photos;
spent time communicating; or
previously received a response.
Respect messaging boundaries
Consent must be voluntary, specific, and ongoing.
Consent to one interaction does not create consent to another interaction.
For example, consent to:
form a Match;
exchange ordinary messages;
discuss a particular topic;
share a photo;
move to another communication service;
have a phone or video call;
meet in person; or
participate in a prior interaction
does not create continuing consent to future messages, sexual discussion, intimate content, recording, disclosure, physical contact, payment requests, or another interaction.
You may not:
pressure, shame, guilt, threaten, deceive, or manipulate another member into replying;
repeatedly contact a member after receiving no response;
repeatedly ask the same or substantially similar question after the member declines;
continue sexual or intimate discussion after the member sets a boundary;
retaliate against a member for stopping communication;
threaten to report a member for declining contact;
use Premium, First Likes, Matches, reports, blocking, or account features as leverage;
use another account or another person to continue contact;
move to another platform to bypass a block or unmatch; or
attempt to locate or contact a member outside Cuddle after the member has ended contact.
Do not use automated, copied, mass-distributed, deceptive, or substantially repetitive messages to pressure, advertise to, recruit, overwhelm, or manipulate members.
Bots, scripts, account farms, unauthorized automation, and duplicate accounts may not be used to send messages or other communications.
Sexual and intimate messages
Cuddle is an adults-only dating and social connection service.
Lawful, consensual, non-commercial discussion between eligible adults is not prohibited solely because it concerns:
dating;
attraction;
romance;
relationships; or
intimacy.
However, all communication must remain lawful, respectful, non-commercial, and within each person’s boundaries.
You may not:
send unwanted sexual messages, propositions, comments, questions, or requests;
repeatedly introduce sexual topics after another member declines or stops responding;
pressure another member to participate in sexual conversation;
pressure another member to share intimate content;
request or send pornographic or sexually explicit images or videos;
send links or external usernames directing another member to pornographic or sexually explicit content;
create, request, send, distribute, or threaten to disclose non-consensual intimate content;
send intimate deepfakes, nudification images, or manipulated intimate media;
use intimate content for harassment, humiliation, blackmail, extortion, sextortion, retaliation, or payment requests;
condition communication, photos, meetings, intimacy, or attention on money or anything else of value; or
offer, request, arrange, promote, or facilitate sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, paid companionship, paid sexual messaging, or adult-content monetization.
Pornographic or sexually explicit images and videos are prohibited even when:
both members are adults;
both members initially consent;
the content is shared privately;
no payment is involved; or
the content is sent through an external link connected to a Cuddle interaction.
Minor safety
Minors may not create accounts, use Cuddle, appear in member content, communicate with members, purchase or use Premium, or otherwise participate in the Service.
Do not use messages to:
contact, solicit, target, groom, exploit, threaten, blackmail, extort, expose, traffic, or endanger a minor;
ask another member to provide information or content involving a minor;
send or request content that depicts, identifies, sexualizes, exploits, abuses, endangers, or otherwise involves a minor unlawfully or inappropriately;
misrepresent a minor as an adult; or
help a minor evade Cuddle’s age requirements.
If you believe a minor is using Cuddle or may be at risk, stop communicating and report the concern promptly.
Do not continue the interaction or put yourself or another person at risk to collect additional evidence.
No money, payment requests, or commercial messages
Do not use Cuddle messages to request, offer, send, receive, arrange, promote, or condition an interaction on:
money;
tips;
donations;
gifts;
reimbursements;
deposits;
fees;
loans;
investments;
financial support;
gift cards;
prepaid cards;
cryptocurrency;
digital assets;
wallet transfers;
bank transfers;
payment-app transfers;
payment credentials;
accommodation;
travel expenses;
employment;
goods;
services; or
anything else of value.
Do not send:
payment handles;
wallet addresses;
bank-transfer instructions;
QR codes;
external checkout links;
invoices;
fundraising links;
gift-card requests;
investment offers;
creator-page links;
seller pages;
booking links;
rates or price lists; or
coded or disguised payment instructions.
Cuddle may not be used for:
commercial solicitation;
advertising;
lead generation;
recruitment;
marketplace activity;
fundraising;
paid access to another member;
paid meetings or dates;
compensated dating;
sugar arrangements;
escort or sexual services;
paid companionship;
adult-content monetization;
user-to-user payments;
payment facilitation; or
another activity prohibited by Cuddle’s policies.
Moving a conversation to another website, messaging service, social platform, payment application, phone number, email address, or in-person setting does not make prohibited conduct acceptable.
Cuddle purchases are payments to Cuddle only
A Premium purchase is a payment to Third Hub US, Inc., d/b/a Cuddle for Cuddle-operated digital functionality.
It is not a payment to or for another member.
Premium does not purchase, reserve, unlock, prioritize, compensate, or obtain:
another member’s attention;
another member’s profile;
a Match;
a message;
a reply;
a conversation;
content;
companionship;
a meeting;
a date;
intimacy;
a relationship; or
another member’s conduct.
Cuddle does not require you to pay another member to communicate, form a Match, receive support, complete an account review, or continue using the Service.
If another member claims that Cuddle requires an external payment, deposit, gift, verification fee, transportation fee, emergency payment, or other transfer of value, do not proceed.
Use Cuddle’s reporting and blocking tools.
Be cautious with links
Do not open a link merely because it was sent by a matched member.
Be cautious if a message:
asks you to sign in through a link;
asks for your password or authentication code;
asks you to confirm payment information;
asks you to download software, a file, an application, or a browser extension;
directs you to an unfamiliar website;
claims that your account will be closed unless you act immediately;
claims to provide a Cuddle verification or account-review service;
asks you to connect a cryptocurrency wallet;
asks you to purchase gift cards;
asks you to move immediately to a payment application;
promises an investment, refund, prize, inheritance, or financial return; or
creates false urgency involving travel, medical, legal, military, family, or financial circumstances.
Do not enter your Cuddle password, authentication code, payment information, identity information, or other sensitive information into a link sent by another member.
Cuddle will not use an ordinary member profile or member message to request your password.
Report suspicious links, phishing attempts, malware, credential requests, and account-takeover attempts.
Messages are not end-to-end encrypted
Cuddle’s in-Service messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
Cuddle and authorized service providers may process message content, attachments, sender and recipient identifiers, timestamps, delivery information, links, and related metadata where reasonably necessary to:
deliver, store, route, and display messages;
maintain and troubleshoot the Service;
secure accounts and messaging;
filter spam or malicious content;
prevent fraud and abuse;
investigate reports;
moderate content;
provide support;
enforce Cuddle’s terms and policies;
comply with applicable law; and
protect members and the Service.
This does not mean that every message is manually reviewed.
Cuddle may use human, automated, and machine-assisted tools where reasonably necessary and permitted by its terms, Privacy Policy, and applicable law.
Do not treat Cuddle messaging as a guaranteed confidential or secure channel for highly sensitive information.
Information you should not send
Do not send the following through Cuddle messages:
passwords;
login links;
authentication or verification codes;
complete payment-card information;
bank-account credentials;
payment credentials;
private keys;
wallet credentials;
identity-document images;
government identification;
Photo or Selfie Review materials;
medical records;
information about minors;
precise real-time location;
home or work addresses;
detailed travel plans;
another person’s private information;
intimate images or videos; or
other highly sensitive information.
Where Cuddle requests account-review materials, submit them only through the authenticated review process made available by Cuddle.
Do not submit review materials through member messages, ordinary email, profile fields, reports, appeals, or unofficial links.
Other members may save or share messages
A recipient may be able to:
copy;
save;
screenshot;
photograph;
record;
download;
forward;
publish;
disclose; or
misuse
a message, photo, attachment, profile detail, or other information they receive.
Cuddle may prohibit or restrict misuse, but Cuddle cannot control every recipient, device, external platform, screenshot, recording, backup, or off-Service disclosure.
Before sending something, consider whether you would be comfortable with the recipient retaining or disclosing it outside Cuddle.
Unmatching, blocking, deleting content, closing your account, or deleting your account may restrict future access through Cuddle. These actions may not remove copies that another person has already:
received;
copied;
saved;
screenshotted;
recorded;
downloaded;
forwarded; or
disclosed.
Use the available reporting tools if another member misuses your messages, photos, personal information, or other content.
Moving communication off Cuddle
You are not required to provide:
your phone number;
email address;
social-media account;
workplace;
home address;
precise location;
travel details;
financial information; or
another private detail.
You are also not required to move a conversation to:
text messaging;
email;
social media;
another messaging service;
a video-chat platform;
a payment application; or
an in-person meeting.
Another member must respect your decision to remain on Cuddle, delay sharing information, decline a meeting, or stop communicating.
Moving communication off Cuddle may reduce Cuddle’s ability to:
observe the interaction;
preserve relevant information;
investigate a report;
enforce restrictions;
recover deleted information;
identify suspicious conduct; or
provide support.
Cuddle’s rules may continue to apply to conduct reasonably connected to Cuddle, another member, information obtained through Cuddle, or an attempt to evade a Cuddle restriction.
Why a message may be delayed or unavailable
A message may be delayed, filtered, blocked, removed, unavailable, or not delivered because of:
a missing or unavailable Match;
blocking or unmatching;
account deletion;
account ineligibility;
an account review;
a restriction, suspension, or termination;
safety or moderation controls;
spam or abuse controls;
rate limits;
suspicious links or attachments;
fraud-prevention controls;
payment-risk controls;
technical capacity;
browser or network issues;
Service maintenance;
product changes;
legal requirements; or
the other member’s actions.
Cuddle does not guarantee that any message will be:
delivered;
displayed immediately;
seen;
read;
understood;
retained;
answered; or
available indefinitely.
A delayed, missing, or unanswered message does not necessarily mean that there is a technical problem.
The other member may have chosen not to reply, may have changed their settings, may have blocked or unmatched you, may have closed their account, or may otherwise be unavailable.
If messaging is not working
If a message is not sending, loading, or appearing as expected, you can try:
Confirm that the Match still appears in your account.
Refresh the page.
Check your internet connection.
Update your browser.
Sign out and sign back in.
Try another supported browser.
Check for an account, safety, moderation, or technical notice.
Review whether your account is currently restricted or under review.
Contact Cuddle Support if the issue continues.
You do not need to check whether Premium is active solely to message an existing matched member.
Premium status affects First-Like access, not ordinary eligible Matched-Member Messaging.
Do not create another account or use another person’s account to bypass a messaging restriction, block, unmatch, suspension, or review.
Reporting a message
Use the available reporting tools if a message appears to involve:
harassment;
repeated unwanted contact;
threats or violence;
hate or unlawful discrimination;
stalking or monitoring;
blackmail, extortion, or sextortion;
impersonation;
scams or fraud;
payment requests;
gift cards or cryptocurrency;
prohibited services;
sexual pressure;
non-consensual intimate content;
minor-safety concerns;
exploitation or trafficking;
doxxing or disclosure of private information;
phishing or malicious links;
account takeover; or
another violation of Cuddle’s policies.
You do not need Premium to:
report a concern;
block a member; or
unmatch where those tools are available.
You do not need to continue communicating before reporting, blocking, or unmatching.
When making a report, provide information that is truthful, relevant, and reasonably specific.
Helpful information may include:
the account or profile involved;
the approximate date and time;
a clear description of what occurred;
the relevant message or conversation;
screenshots or other records where lawful and safe; and
whether there is an immediate safety concern.
Do not put yourself or another person at risk to collect evidence.
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card details, bank credentials, identity-document images, government identification, medical records, information about minors, or other highly sensitive information through an ordinary report or email.
What Cuddle may do after a report
Where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable terms and law, Cuddle may review:
the reported messages;
related account and profile information;
links and attachments;
reports and support communications;
blocks and unmatches;
device or session information;
related accounts;
fraud-prevention or payment-risk signals;
moderation history; and
other relevant records.
Depending on the circumstances, Cuddle may:
take no further action;
request more information;
warn a member;
remove or preserve content;
restrict links or attachments;
limit Likes, Matches, messaging, discovery, or profile visibility;
require an account review;
restrict checkout, Premium, or a payment method;
temporarily suspend an account;
permanently terminate an account;
block re-registration;
notify an affected person where appropriate;
preserve relevant records; or
cooperate with lawful authorities.
A report does not guarantee:
immediate review;
evidence preservation;
disclosure of another member’s information;
message removal;
account restriction;
account termination;
recovery of money or content;
notification;
reimbursement; or
another particular outcome.
Cuddle may be unable to disclose internal reports, safety methods, risk signals, investigations, moderation records, or confidential information.
Messaging is not a safety guarantee
A Match, message, reply, profile, photo, account review, badge, account indicator, Premium purchase, report outcome, safety tool, or support response does not guarantee another member’s:
identity;
age;
location;
relationship or marital status;
account ownership;
ownership of a photo;
intentions;
truthfulness;
background;
criminal history;
sex-offender status;
financial circumstances;
payment authority;
health;
compatibility;
safety; or
future conduct.
Cuddle does not conduct criminal background checks or sex-offender-registry checks on every member.
Use your own judgment, protect sensitive information, move at a pace that feels appropriate, respect boundaries, and use the available reporting, blocking, unmatching, and safety tools.
Emergency situations
Cuddle’s messaging, reporting, support, safety, privacy, billing, and security channels are not emergency-response services and may not be monitored in real time.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Do not rely on Cuddle to provide emergency assistance, monitor an urgent situation in real time, or contact emergency services on your behalf.
