Cuddle uses Likes to help eligible members express interest in other profiles.
Whether a Like is available through Free Access or requires Premium depends on whether the other member has already sent you an Incoming Like.
Free Access allows eligible members to review Incoming Likes and send Likes Back.
Active Premium allows an eligible member to send up to ten (10) First Likes per day, subject to the applicable reset schedule, remaining allowance, account status, technical availability, safety controls, moderation, anti-spam controls, and other applicable restrictions.
Key Like terms
Incoming Like
An “Incoming Like” is a Like another member has already sent to you.
Eligible Free Access currently allows you to:
review an Incoming Like;
view the profile of the member who sent it;
send that member a Like Back;
pass;
block the member;
report a concern; or
take another action made available through the Service.
Reviewing an Incoming Like does not consume your Premium First-Like allowance.
An Incoming Like does not guarantee that the sender remains active, eligible, available, interested, truthful, or able to form a Match or communicate.
Like Back
A “Like Back” is a Like you send to a member who has already sent you an Incoming Like.
A Like Back is included in eligible Free Access.
You do not need Premium solely to:
send a Like Back;
form the resulting Match; or
message the matched member.
Sending a Like Back does not consume the Premium First-Like allowance.
If you send a Like Back, the two members have mutually Liked each other and the Service may form a Match.
First Like
A “First Like” is a Like you initiate toward a member who has not already sent you an Incoming Like.
Sending a First Like requires:
active Premium; or
another form of First-Like access expressly authorized by Cuddle.
While purchased Premium is active, an eligible member may send up to ten (10) First Likes per day, subject to the applicable limits and restrictions.
A First Like generally consumes the applicable First-Like allowance according to the treatment disclosed before purchase, in the Service, in a receipt, or in another applicable product disclosure.
Match
A “Match” is formed when the Service indicates that two members have mutually Liked each other.
A Match may form when:
another member sends you an Incoming Like and you send a Like Back; or
you send a First Like and the receiving member sends a Like Back.
Where messaging is available, matched members may then message each other through eligible Free Access.
Which Likes require Premium?
Premium is required when you want to send the first Like to a member who has not already Liked you.
The rule is:
if the other member has already sent you an Incoming Like, your Like is a Like Back available through eligible Free Access; and
if the other member has not already sent you an Incoming Like, your Like is a First Like requiring active Premium or another form of First-Like access authorized by Cuddle.
Cuddle may use account, Like, Match, block, moderation, and technical records to determine whether an attempted Like is a Like Back or a First Like.
Does the rule differ by gender?
No.
Cuddle does not use a member’s:
sex;
gender identity;
sexual orientation; or
the gender or genders the member chooses to meet
to determine whether a Like requires Premium.
The same First-Like rule applies to eligible members regardless of those characteristics.
This does not require Cuddle to override:
member preferences;
blocks or unmatches;
account restrictions;
eligibility requirements;
safety or moderation controls;
technical limitations; or
applicable law.
What is included with Free Access?
Eligible Free Access currently includes:
browsing and viewing available profiles;
reviewing Incoming Likes;
viewing the profiles of members who sent Incoming Likes;
sending Likes Back;
forming Matches;
messaging matched members; and
using basic reporting, blocking, unmatching, account-security, safety, and support tools.
Incoming Likes and Likes Back do not consume the Premium First-Like allowance.
Free Access does not currently include a general allowance for initiating First Likes toward members who have not already Liked you.
What is included with Premium?
While active, Premium currently allows an eligible member to send up to ten (10) First Likes per day.
Premium also includes eligible Free Access functionality.
Premium does not control access to:
Incoming Likes;
the profiles of members who sent Incoming Likes;
Likes Back;
Matches; or
Matched-Member Messaging.
Those functions remain part of eligible Free Access, subject to account status and applicable restrictions.
Premium is account-level digital functionality operated by Cuddle. It is not payment for access to a particular member.
Premium does not purchase, reserve, unlock, prioritize, compensate, verify, protect, or obtain another person.
How many First Likes can I send?
Active purchased Premium currently allows an eligible member to send up to ten (10) First Likes per day.
Your available First-Like allowance may depend on:
whether Premium is active;
the applicable reset schedule;
your remaining allowance;
your account status;
account eligibility;
technical availability;
recipient availability;
blocks or unmatches;
anti-spam or rate limits;
safety and moderation controls;
fraud-prevention or payment-risk controls;
product configuration;
legal requirements; and
other applicable restrictions.
Having active Premium and a remaining allowance does not guarantee that every attempted First Like will be available, delivered, retained, displayed, or processed successfully.
When does the daily allowance reset?
The applicable daily reset schedule will be disclosed before purchase.
The reset schedule may also appear:
in the Service;
at checkout;
in a receipt;
in an applicable product disclosure; or
through another notice provided by Cuddle.
The disclosed schedule controls when the First-Like allowance resets.
A daily reset does not:
extend the 30-day Premium access period;
change the Premium expiration date or time;
create a new Premium access period;
create a subscription;
authorize another charge; or
restore Premium after it expires.
The displayed remaining allowance or reset information may occasionally be delayed because of synchronization, device, browser, network, or technical conditions.
Where reasonably appropriate, Cuddle may review and correct a verified Cuddle-controlled technical error.
What happens when I reach the daily limit?
After you reach the applicable First-Like limit, you may be unable to send another First Like until:
the allowance resets under the disclosed schedule;
Cuddle corrects a verified technical error;
another form of First-Like access applies; or
Cuddle otherwise expressly authorizes additional access.
Reaching the First-Like limit does not, by itself, prevent you from:
reviewing eligible Incoming Likes;
viewing the profiles of members who sent them;
sending eligible Likes Back;
forming Matches; or
messaging matched members.
Those functions remain part of eligible Free Access, subject to account status and applicable restrictions.
Do not create or use another account, use another person’s account, manipulate devices or location information, or use automation or another workaround to obtain additional First Likes or bypass the daily allowance.
Do unused First Likes carry over?
Unless an applicable product disclosure expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, unused First Likes do not carry over to another daily allowance or another Premium access period.
Unused First Likes:
have no cash value;
do not create stored value;
do not create a wallet balance;
do not create virtual credits;
do not extend Premium;
do not automatically create a refund or credit;
cannot be transferred to another account;
cannot be sold or traded;
cannot be redeemed or cashed out; and
cannot be used to pay or compensate another member.
Failure to use all available First Likes before a daily reset or Premium expiration does not automatically create a refund, extension, replacement, or restoration right.
Any applicable refund, cancellation, or other non-waivable right is governed by Cuddle’s Purchase Terms, State-Specific Terms, applicable purchase disclosures, and law.
What happens to failed or incomplete attempts?
Cuddle’s systems may classify an attempted First Like as:
completed;
pending;
failed;
blocked;
reversed;
duplicate;
restricted; or
technically incomplete.
The applicable checkout or product disclosure, relevant Service records, and controlling purchase-specific terms determine whether an attempted First Like:
reduces the remaining allowance;
is restored;
remains pending;
is reversed; or
otherwise affects the allowance.
Cuddle may correct a verified Cuddle-controlled technical error where reasonably appropriate.
A First Like is not automatically restored merely because:
the recipient did not view it;
the recipient passed;
the recipient did not send a Like Back;
the recipient did not form a Match;
the recipient did not send a message;
the recipient stopped using Cuddle;
the recipient blocked or unmatched;
the recipient’s account became unavailable; or
the First Like did not produce the outcome you wanted.
Why might I have fewer First Likes than expected?
Your available First-Like allowance may be lower than expected or temporarily unavailable because:
Premium is not active;
Premium expired;
you reached the applicable daily limit;
the daily reset has not yet occurred;
one or more First-Like attempts were recorded against the allowance;
the displayed allowance has not yet synchronized;
your account is under review;
your account is restricted, suspended, or otherwise not in good standing;
the recipient or profile is unavailable;
a block or unmatch applies;
anti-spam or rate limits apply;
safety or moderation controls apply;
suspicious or abusive activity was detected;
fraud-prevention or payment-risk controls apply;
a technical or browser issue occurred;
Cuddle is conducting maintenance or a product test;
legal or operational restrictions apply; or
another applicable Service limitation applies.
Active Premium does not override account, safety, moderation, technical, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, or legal restrictions.
What happens when Premium expires?
Purchased Premium is currently 30-day, fixed-term, non-renewing digital access.
Premium expires automatically at the disclosed expiration date and time.
When Premium expires:
First-Like access ends;
any remaining First-Like allowance may expire;
no automatic renewal charge occurs;
the account may return to eligible Free Access; and
continued purchased Premium access requires a new checkout and separate payment authorization.
Premium expiration does not, by itself:
remove an existing Incoming Like;
prevent an eligible Like Back;
remove an existing Match;
delete an existing conversation; or
prevent eligible Matched-Member Messaging through Free Access.
A separate block, unmatch, account deletion, account restriction, moderation action, safety action, technical limitation, or termination may still affect those functions.
Do First Likes guarantee that the other member will see me?
No.
A First Like may be delayed, restricted, reversed, removed, unavailable, or not delivered.
Premium and First Likes do not guarantee:
profile visibility;
discovery placement;
delivery;
receipt;
viewing;
retention;
an Incoming Like;
a Like Back;
a Match;
a message;
a reply;
a conversation;
a meeting;
a date;
a relationship;
compatibility;
identity;
truthfulness;
safety; or
any particular outcome.
Another member independently decides whether to:
view your profile;
review your Like;
send a Like Back;
form a Match;
send a message;
reply;
continue communicating;
block or unmatch;
meet; or
take another action.
Purchasing Premium does not create an obligation for Cuddle or another member to provide a particular result.
A Like does not create an obligation
A Like expresses interest through Cuddle’s Service functionality at a particular time.
It does not create:
a contract between members;
a commitment;
continuing consent;
an obligation to respond;
an obligation to form a Match;
an obligation to communicate;
an obligation to share information or photos;
an obligation to move communication off Cuddle;
an obligation to meet;
an obligation to provide companionship or intimacy;
an obligation to pay; or
an obligation to begin or continue a relationship.
Another member may pass, change their mind, stop responding, unmatch, block, report a concern, or end contact at any time.
Respect silence, declined requests, changed boundaries, blocking, and unmatching.
Do not use another account, another person, or an external communication channel to bypass a block, unmatch, restriction, or clearly stated boundary.
Using Likes respectfully
Use Likes and related Service functionality respectfully.
You may not use Likes, repeated profile interactions, duplicate accounts, automation, messages, reports, or another feature to:
pressure or intimidate another member;
demand attention or a response;
harass or threaten;
shame or retaliate;
monitor or stalk;
impersonate or deceive;
evade a block or unmatch;
evade a daily limit or account restriction;
spam or mass-contact members;
advertise or solicit;
obtain money or anything else of value;
arrange a prohibited service; or
violate Cuddle’s Terms or policies.
Do not use bots, scripts, unauthorized automation, account farms, duplicate accounts, false information, or manipulated location information to send Likes or obtain additional First-Like access.
If a member does not respond, stops responding, passes, unmatches, blocks you, or communicates a boundary, respect that decision.
Likes are not payments to another member
Premium payments are payments to Third Hub US, Inc., d/b/a Cuddle for Cuddle-operated digital functionality.
They are not payments to or for another member.
A Like, First Like, Like Back, or Match does not authorize:
user-to-user payments;
fees for attention, replies, Matches, meetings, or dates;
compensated dating;
sugar arrangements;
escort or sexual services;
paid companionship;
adult-content monetization;
commercial solicitation;
external checkout;
payment facilitation; or
another activity prohibited by Cuddle’s policies.
Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, payment credentials, authentication codes, or anything else of value to another member.
If another member requests money or another transfer of value, use Cuddle’s reporting and blocking tools.
Likes are not safety checks
An Incoming Like, Like Back, First Like, Match, message, profile, photo, account review, badge, account indicator, Premium purchase, safety tool, or support response does not guarantee another member’s:
identity;
age;
location;
relationship or marital status;
account ownership;
ownership of a photo;
background;
criminal history;
sex-offender status;
intentions;
truthfulness;
compatibility;
safety; or
future conduct.
Cuddle does not conduct criminal background checks or sex-offender-registry checks on every member.
Use your own judgment, protect sensitive information, respect boundaries, and use available reporting, blocking, unmatching, and safety tools.
If Likes are not working
If an Incoming Like, Like Back, First Like, Match, or remaining allowance is not appearing or working as expected, you can try:
Confirm that your account remains eligible and accessible.
Confirm that Premium is active if you are trying to send a First Like.
Review the displayed remaining First-Like allowance and reset information.
Confirm that the profile remains available.
Refresh the page.
Check your internet connection.
Update your browser.
Sign out and sign back in.
Try another supported browser.
Review any account, safety, moderation, billing, or technical notice.
Contact Cuddle Support if the issue continues.
Premium is not required solely to review an eligible Incoming Like, send a Like Back, form a Match, or message a matched member.
Do not create another account or use another person’s account to bypass a daily limit, review, block, unmatch, suspension, or other restriction.
