Photo sharing controls

Learn how Cuddle’s photo-sharing controls work, who may view certain photos, how to remove access, what the controls cannot prevent, and how to report misuse.

Where supported, Cuddle may provide photo-sharing or gallery controls that allow you to choose which eligible members may view certain photos.

These controls are designed to limit ordinary visibility within the Service. They do not guarantee confidentiality and cannot prevent every screenshot, copy, recording, download, forwarding, publication, or off-Service disclosure.

Think carefully before uploading or sharing any photo.

Profile photos and controlled photos

Cuddle may support different ways of displaying photos.

Profile photos

A profile photo may be displayed through ordinary Service functionality, including:

  • your profile;

  • profile discovery;

  • Incoming Likes;

  • Likes;

  • Matches;

  • messaging; or

  • other available areas of the Service.

The audience for a profile photo may depend on your settings, account status, feature availability, blocks, restrictions, and applicable Service controls.

Photos shared through photo controls

Where supported, you may be able to upload certain photos and grant viewing access to selected eligible members.

A photo shared through these controls may be visible only to the members to whom you grant access through the applicable Service feature.

The precise controls, available recipients, number of photos, supported file types, and viewing experience may depend on:

  • account eligibility;

  • account status;

  • the availability of the feature;

  • the recipient’s account status;

  • whether a Match or another eligible connection exists;

  • device and browser compatibility;

  • safety or moderation controls;

  • technical capacity;

  • legal requirements; and

  • other applicable restrictions.

Not every account, browser, device, or Service configuration will necessarily support the same photo-sharing functionality.

How to share a photo

Where photo-sharing controls are available, follow the instructions shown through the Service.

The process may allow you to:

  1. upload or select an eligible photo;

  2. review the photo before sharing;

  3. select an eligible member;

  4. grant that member viewing access; and

  5. manage or remove access through the controls made available by Cuddle.

Share a photo only when:

  • you created it or otherwise have the necessary rights and permissions;

  • every depicted person is an adult;

  • every depicted person authorized the photo and its use;

  • the photo complies with Cuddle’s Terms and policies; and

  • you are comfortable with the recipient potentially retaining or disclosing it outside Cuddle.

Do not upload or share a photo because another person pressures, threatens, pays, promises payment, creates urgency, or claims that it is required for trust, verification, safety, continued communication, or a Match.

Who can view a shared photo?

A photo shared through photo-sharing controls may be viewable by a member to whom you granted access, subject to:

  • the permission remaining active;

  • the relevant accounts remaining available;

  • the applicable Service feature remaining available;

  • blocks or unmatches;

  • account restrictions;

  • content moderation;

  • safety controls;

  • technical limitations; and

  • applicable law.

Cuddle does not guarantee that:

  • only the intended person will physically see the recipient’s device;

  • the recipient will not show the photo to another person;

  • the recipient will not use another device to photograph or record the screen;

  • the recipient will not copy, save, screenshot, forward, publish, disclose, or misuse the photo;

  • access will remain available for a particular period; or

  • removing access will delete every existing copy.

A recipient’s device, account, browser, email, or other access method may also be shared, monitored, compromised, or accessible to another person.

Photo controls are visibility controls

Cuddle’s photo-sharing controls govern ordinary in-Service visibility.

They are not a guarantee that a photo will remain confidential, secret, secure, anonymous, temporary, or available only to the intended recipient.

A recipient may be able to:

  • take a screenshot;

  • photograph the screen using another device;

  • save or download the photo;

  • record the screen;

  • copy or reproduce the photo;

  • forward it;

  • publish it;

  • disclose it to another person;

  • upload it to another service;

  • alter or manipulate it; or

  • use it in a way that violates Cuddle’s policies or applicable law.

Cuddle may prohibit or restrict such conduct, but Cuddle cannot control every recipient, device, screenshot, recording, external platform, backup, or off-Service disclosure.

Before sharing a photo, consider whether you would be comfortable with the recipient retaining it after your Cuddle interaction ends.

Removing or revoking access

Where supported, you may be able to remove a member’s access to a shared photo through Cuddle’s photo-sharing controls.

Removing access may restrict the member’s future ordinary in-Service viewing of the photo.

Removing access does not guarantee deletion of a copy that the member or another person has already:

  • viewed;

  • copied;

  • saved;

  • downloaded;

  • screenshotted;

  • photographed;

  • recorded;

  • forwarded;

  • published;

  • disclosed; or

  • stored outside Cuddle.

Removing the photo from your account may also remove or limit future display through the Service, but it may not remove:

  • recipient copies;

  • shared conversations;

  • screenshots;

  • recordings;

  • reports;

  • safety or moderation records;

  • support records;

  • fraud-prevention records;

  • payment-risk records;

  • legal records;

  • logs;

  • caches;

  • archives; or

  • backups that Cuddle is permitted or required to retain.

What happens after blocking or unmatching?

Blocking or unmatching may restrict future communication or visibility between the affected accounts.

Depending on the available functionality, blocking or unmatching may also restrict future access to certain shared photos.

However, blocking or unmatching does not guarantee that a recipient has deleted or can no longer access a copy already received or created outside Cuddle.

Where available, review your photo-sharing permissions separately and remove access through the applicable photo controls.

Do not create another account, use another person’s account, or move to another communication channel to bypass a block, unmatch, removed permission, account restriction, or clearly stated boundary.

What happens if I delete my account?

Deleting or closing your account may remove or deactivate your profile and certain photos from ordinary Service views.

Account deletion does not guarantee deletion of:

  • photos previously received by another member;

  • screenshots or recordings;

  • downloads;

  • forwarded copies;

  • off-Service publications;

  • reports or evidence;

  • safety, moderation, or support records;

  • fraud-prevention or payment-risk records;

  • legal records;

  • logs, caches, archives, or backups; or

  • information Cuddle is permitted or required to retain.

Do not delete your account on the assumption that doing so will retrieve or erase every photo previously shared with another person.

Photos you may not upload or share

You may not upload, display, request, send, exchange, link to, or otherwise make available a photo that:

  • depicts, identifies, sexualizes, exploits, abuses, or endangers a minor;

  • is pornographic or sexually explicit;

  • contains non-consensual intimate content;

  • is a sexualized deepfake, nudification image, or manipulated intimate image;

  • depicts sexual violence, exploitation, trafficking, or unlawful conduct;

  • contains threats, harassment, hate, humiliation, or blackmail;

  • reveals another person’s private information without lawful authority;

  • impersonates or materially misrepresents another person;

  • uses a stolen or unauthorized image;

  • infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or another right;

  • advertises or facilitates a prohibited service;

  • requests or promotes a payment or commercial transaction;

  • contains malicious links, QR codes, payment handles, or deceptive instructions; or

  • otherwise violates Cuddle’s Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

These restrictions apply even when:

  • all participants are adults;

  • the photo is shared only with one member;

  • both members initially consent;

  • the photo is placed in a restricted gallery;

  • the photo is not publicly displayed;

  • no payment is involved; or

  • the photo is shared through an external link connected to a Cuddle interaction.

No pornographic or sexually explicit photos

Cuddle is not an adult-content platform.

Pornographic or sexually explicit photos and videos may not be uploaded, requested, exchanged, displayed, distributed, linked to, sold, purchased, or monetized through or in connection with Cuddle.

A restricted audience or photo-sharing permission does not make sexually explicit content permitted.

Lawful and consensual conversation between eligible adults remains subject to Cuddle’s Terms, Community Guidelines, consent requirements, and each person’s boundaries.

Do not pressure another member to send intimate or sexually explicit content.

No photos involving minors

Minors may not appear in member photos or otherwise participate in the Service.

Do not upload or share:

  • a photo depicting or identifying a minor;

  • a family photo that includes a minor;

  • a cropped image where a minor remains visible or identifiable;

  • sexualized or exploitative content involving a minor;

  • an image falsely presenting a minor as an adult; or

  • information that could identify, locate, target, exploit, or endanger a minor.

If you believe a photo or account involves a minor, stop interacting and report the concern promptly.

Do not put yourself or another person at risk to collect additional evidence.

Do not share sensitive information

Before sharing a photo, check whether it reveals:

  • your home or workplace;

  • a street sign or building address;

  • your precise or real-time location;

  • your vehicle registration information;

  • your employer or school;

  • your routine or travel plans;

  • financial or payment information;

  • identity documents;

  • medical records;

  • legal records;

  • authentication information;

  • information about family members;

  • information about minors;

  • another person’s private information;

  • identifying tattoos or background details; or

  • other information that could be used to identify, locate, pressure, deceive, or harm you.

Do not use ordinary profile, messaging, or photo-sharing functionality to submit:

  • identity-document images;

  • government identification;

  • full payment-card details;

  • bank credentials;

  • passwords;

  • authentication or verification codes;

  • private keys;

  • wallet credentials;

  • medical records;

  • Photo or Selfie Review materials; or

  • other highly sensitive information.

Where Cuddle requests account-review materials, submit them only through the authenticated review process expressly made available by Cuddle.

Edited and generated photos

Ordinary cropping, lighting correction, or non-deceptive cosmetic editing is not prohibited solely because a photo was edited.

However, you may not use an edited, filtered, synthetic, AI-generated, or otherwise manipulated image to materially misrepresent:

  • your identity;

  • your appearance;

  • another person;

  • a real event;

  • consent;

  • account ownership;

  • account-review status;

  • Cuddle endorsement or approval; or

  • another material fact.

You may not create, upload, request, share, or threaten to share a sexualized deepfake, nudification image, manipulated intimate image, or other non-consensual synthetic intimate content.

Do I need Premium to receive a shared photo?

Premium does not purchase or guarantee access to another member’s photos.

A Premium purchase is a payment to Cuddle for Cuddle-operated First-Like functionality.

Premium does not require another member to:

  • grant photo access;

  • share a photo;

  • continue sharing a photo;

  • keep access active;

  • provide additional photos;

  • send intimate content;

  • communicate;

  • reply;

  • form or maintain a Match; or

  • take any other action.

A member may refuse or withdraw photo access at any time through the controls available to them.

Do not claim that purchasing Premium gives you a right to another member’s photos.

Photos may not be sold or exchanged for value

You may not request, offer, sell, purchase, rent, trade, monetize, or condition photo access on:

  • money;

  • tips;

  • donations;

  • gifts;

  • gift cards;

  • deposits;

  • reimbursements;

  • loans;

  • financial support;

  • cryptocurrency;

  • digital assets;

  • wallet transfers;

  • payment-app transfers;

  • travel or lodging;

  • goods;

  • services; or

  • anything else of value.

You may not use photo-sharing controls to facilitate:

  • adult-content monetization;

  • paid intimate content;

  • paid sexual messaging;

  • paid access to a gallery;

  • creator subscriptions;

  • compensated dating;

  • sugar arrangements;

  • escort or sexual services;

  • paid companionship;

  • commercial solicitation;

  • external checkout;

  • user-to-user payments; or

  • another activity prohibited by Cuddle’s policies.

Moving the photo or payment request to another website, messaging service, social platform, payment application, email address, or phone number does not make prohibited conduct acceptable.

Never use a photo for coercion or retaliation

You may not use another person’s photo to:

  • threaten;

  • shame;

  • humiliate;

  • harass;

  • stalk;

  • expose;

  • dox;

  • impersonate;

  • discriminate against;

  • solicit payment from;

  • blackmail;

  • extort;

  • sextort;

  • retaliate against; or

  • control

that person.

Permission to view a photo does not authorize you to:

  • copy it;

  • publish it;

  • send it to another person;

  • post it on social media;

  • use it for identification or surveillance;

  • contact the depicted person’s family or employer;

  • create a fake account;

  • create manipulated or intimate content;

  • use it for artificial-intelligence training;

  • use it for facial recognition or biometric analysis;

  • use it for advertising or commercial profiling; or

  • otherwise use it outside the intended Cuddle interaction.

Earlier permission to view or receive a photo does not create continuing permission to retain, reproduce, disclose, or misuse it.

Cuddle may review photos

Cuddle may use human, automated, or machine-assisted processes to review photos and related information where reasonably necessary to:

  • provide and operate photo functionality;

  • support account quality;

  • investigate reports;

  • moderate content;

  • identify suspected impersonation;

  • detect fraud or scams;

  • address minor-safety concerns;

  • identify prohibited sexual or commercial content;

  • enforce Cuddle’s Terms and policies;

  • comply with applicable law; or

  • protect members and the Service.

This does not mean that every photo is manually reviewed before it is displayed or shared.

Depending on the circumstances, Cuddle may:

  • delay or reject an upload;

  • blur or restrict a photo;

  • remove a photo;

  • limit photo-sharing functionality;

  • remove or restrict viewing permissions;

  • limit profile visibility;

  • restrict Likes, Matches, or messaging;

  • require an additional account review;

  • preserve relevant records;

  • warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate an account; or

  • take another action permitted by Cuddle’s terms or applicable law.

Cuddle does not guarantee that every prohibited photo will be identified, reviewed, removed, preserved, or correctly classified.

Photo access is not verification

A profile photo, gallery photo, shared photo, viewing permission, account review, badge, account indicator, Match, message, Premium purchase, safety tool, or support response does not guarantee another member’s:

  • identity;

  • age;

  • location;

  • relationship or marital status;

  • ownership of the photo;

  • authenticity;

  • account ownership;

  • intentions;

  • background;

  • criminal history;

  • sex-offender status;

  • truthfulness;

  • compatibility;

  • safety; or

  • future conduct.

A photo may be old, altered, misleading, unauthorized, copied, or connected to a compromised account.

Continue to use your own judgment and available reporting, blocking, and unmatching tools.

If photo sharing is not working

If you cannot upload, share, view, or remove access to a photo, you can try:

  1. Confirm that the photo-sharing feature is available for your account.

  2. Confirm that the intended recipient remains eligible and available.

  3. Confirm that any required Match or connection remains active.

  4. Review whether a block, unmatch, review, or account restriction applies.

  5. Confirm that the photo complies with Cuddle’s content requirements.

  6. Refresh the page.

  7. Check your internet connection.

  8. Update your browser.

  9. Sign out and sign back in.

  10. Try another supported browser.

  11. Review any account, safety, moderation, or technical notice.

  12. Contact Cuddle Support if the issue continues.

Do not create another account, use another person’s account, or use an unofficial tool to bypass a photo restriction, content decision, block, unmatch, review, or account limitation.

Reporting misuse of a photo

Use Cuddle’s reporting tools if you believe a member:

  • shared your photo without permission;

  • used a stolen or unauthorized photo;

  • impersonated you or another person;

  • threatened to disclose a photo;

  • requested payment in connection with a photo;

  • used a photo for blackmail, extortion, or sextortion;

  • shared non-consensual intimate content;

  • created or shared manipulated intimate content;

  • uploaded a photo involving a minor;

  • used a photo to harass, stalk, threaten, or expose someone;

  • promoted prohibited services or commercial activity;

  • infringed copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or another right; or

  • otherwise violated Cuddle’s policies.

You do not need Premium to submit a safety report or block a member.

When reporting, provide information that is truthful, relevant, and reasonably specific.

Helpful information may include:

  • the profile or account involved;

  • the approximate date and time;

  • the photo or content involved;

  • the relevant conversation;

  • a clear description of what occurred;

  • where the content was disclosed, if known; and

  • screenshots or other records where lawful and safe.

Do not continue communicating, make a payment, provide additional photos, or put yourself or another person at risk to collect evidence.

A report does not guarantee immediate removal, recovery of a photo, deletion from another person’s device, disclosure of another member’s information, account termination, or another particular outcome.

If someone threatens to share a photo

If another person threatens to publish or disclose a photo:

  • do not pay;

  • do not provide additional photos;

  • do not provide financial or authentication information;

  • stop communicating where safe;

  • preserve relevant information where lawful and safe;

  • use Cuddle’s reporting and blocking tools;

  • secure your email, phone number, and related accounts; and

  • contact appropriate local authorities or support services where necessary.

Cuddle’s support and reporting channels are not emergency-response services and may not be monitored in real time.
