Someone is asking for money. What should I do?

Learn how to respond to payment requests, report concerns, and act if you’ve already sent money.

Don’t send money or share financial credentials. Requests for emergency expenses, travel costs, loans, investments, verification fees, or meeting deposits are warning signs.

Cuddle prohibits requesting, offering, sending, receiving, or arranging money or other value between members in connection with the service, including gifts, reimbursements, gift cards, and cryptocurrency. This applies even after you meet or move to another platform. Each person may independently pay their own ordinary expenses.

Report the request using Cuddle’s reporting tools or email [email protected]. Identify the member and describe the request. You can block or unmatch to limit contact.

If you already sent money, stop sending more and contact your bank or payment provider immediately. Explain what happened and ask whether the payment can be stopped or reversed. Recovery isn’t guaranteed. Secure any exposed accounts.

Pay for Cuddle features only through the authorized checkout. Don’t use payment links sent by members.
