Blocking or limiting contact

Learn when to block or unmatch another member, what these tools may do, and when to report a safety concern.

Cuddle may provide blocking, unmatching, or similar contact-limiting tools where supported.

These tools can help you manage your interactions, but they cannot prevent every form of contact or remove information already shared.

When should I block or unmatch someone?

You may want to block, unmatch, or limit contact if another member:

  • makes you uncomfortable;

  • does not respect your boundaries;

  • repeatedly contacts you after you stop responding;

  • pressures you to share information, photos, or contact details;

  • sends suspicious links or payment requests;

  • appears fake, misleading, or unsafe;

  • misuses your photos or information; or

  • otherwise violates Cuddle’s rules.

You do not need to continue a conversation or provide an explanation before blocking or unmatching someone.

You do not need Premium to use available blocking, unmatching, or reporting tools.

How do I block or unmatch someone?

Where supported, the applicable option may appear through:

  • the member’s profile;

  • a message thread;

  • a safety or account menu; or

  • another Service feature.

Available controls may vary depending on your account, browser, device, account status, and feature availability.

If you cannot find the appropriate control, contact:

What may blocking or unmatching do?

Depending on the feature, blocking or unmatching may:

  • stop or limit future messages through Cuddle;

  • end or restrict the Match;

  • reduce profile visibility between the affected accounts;

  • remove or hide a conversation from ordinary account views; or

  • limit other in-Service interactions.

The exact effect may vary by feature and Service configuration.

What does blocking not guarantee?

Blocking or unmatching does not guarantee that:

  • prior messages will be deleted;

  • screenshots or saved copies will be removed;

  • previously shared information will be recovered;

  • another person will delete your photos or information;

  • off-Service contact will stop;

  • Cuddle will take a particular enforcement action; or

  • an unsafe situation will be resolved.

A person may already have copied, saved, photographed, recorded, forwarded, or disclosed information received before the block.

Blocking and reporting are different

Blocking or unmatching helps limit contact.

Reporting asks Cuddle to review a possible safety, account, content, payment, or policy concern.

Blocking someone does not necessarily submit a report to Cuddle.

Report the account or activity if it appears to involve:

  • harassment or threats;

  • repeated unwanted contact;

  • impersonation;

  • scams or fraud;

  • payment requests;

  • suspicious links;

  • blackmail or extortion;

  • photo misuse;

  • sexual pressure;

  • possible minor use; or

  • another serious policy violation.

Respect another member’s boundaries

Another member may stop responding, decline a request, remove photo access, unmatch, block, or end contact at any time.

A Like, Match, message, shared photo, prior conversation, or Premium purchase does not mean another member owes you:

  • a reply or explanation;

  • continued communication;

  • personal information;

  • photos;

  • off-Service contact;

  • a meeting; or

  • a relationship.

Do not try to bypass a block, unmatch, or stated boundary by:

  • creating or using another account;

  • using another person’s account;

  • asking someone else to make contact for you;

  • using another phone number, email address, or social account;

  • moving to another platform to continue unwanted contact; or

  • retaliating against the member.

Attempting to bypass a contact boundary may result in account review, restriction, suspension, or termination.

If contact continues outside Cuddle

Cuddle may have limited ability to control conduct occurring outside the Service.

If someone continues contacting you outside Cuddle after you have ended communication:

  • do not respond if you feel unsafe;

  • preserve relevant records where lawful and safe;

  • use blocking and reporting tools on the outside service;

  • report the conduct to Cuddle if it is connected to a Cuddle interaction; and

  • contact appropriate authorities where necessary.

Cuddle’s support and reporting channels are not emergency-response services and may not be monitored in real time.

If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services immediately.
