Cuddle is not an emergency-response service.
Cuddle’s reporting tools, support channels, safety team, email addresses, messages, and other Service features may not be monitored or answered in real time.
What should I do in an emergency?
If you or another person is in immediate danger, needs urgent medical assistance, or faces a risk of serious harm:
contact local emergency services immediately;
call 911 in the United States where appropriate;
move to a safer location if you can do so safely; and
contact a trusted person or appropriate local authority where helpful.
Do not wait for Cuddle to review a report or respond to an email before seeking emergency assistance.
What situations may require emergency assistance?
Contact emergency services where appropriate if a situation involves:
immediate threats of violence;
physical assault or sexual assault;
stalking with an immediate safety risk;
kidnapping, trafficking, or exploitation;
blackmail or extortion involving an urgent threat;
a missing or endangered minor;
an urgent medical emergency;
an immediate risk of self-harm or harm to another person; or
another situation requiring immediate intervention.
Cuddle cannot determine from a message alone whether emergency assistance is required. Use your judgment and contact the appropriate authorities when there is an urgent risk.
What can Cuddle do?
After contacting emergency services where necessary, you may also report conduct connected to Cuddle.
Cuddle may review relevant:
profiles;
messages;
photos;
reports;
account activity; and
other available records.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Cuddle may:
restrict or remove content;
limit contact or account functionality;
suspend or terminate an account;
preserve relevant records;
provide available information to lawful authorities; or
take another appropriate action.
A Cuddle report does not guarantee immediate review, emergency intervention, evidence preservation, disclosure, account action, or a particular result.
How do I report an urgent safety concern?
Use Cuddle’s in-Service reporting tools where available or contact:
Include information reasonably necessary to identify the concern, such as:
the profile or account involved;
the approximate date and time;
a brief description of what happened;
relevant messages, links, or photos; and
whether emergency services have already been contacted.
Do not put yourself or another person at risk to collect additional evidence.
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card details, bank credentials, identity-document images, government identification, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information through ordinary email.
Can Cuddle contact emergency services for me?
Do not rely on Cuddle to contact emergency services on your behalf.
Cuddle may take action or cooperate with lawful authorities where permitted or required, but it cannot guarantee:
real-time monitoring;
immediate contact with authorities;
your location being identified;
an emergency response;
preservation of every record; or
a particular response time.
