Someone is threatening or blackmailing me. What should I do?

Get guidance on seeking help, reporting threats, and handling evidence without putting yourself at further risk.

If you’re in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Cuddle’s channels are not emergency services and may not be monitored in real time.

Threats and blackmail are abuse, and they are not your fault. Don’t pay, send more intimate content, or share account credentials. You can seek help without confronting the person.

Report what happened through Cuddle’s reporting tools or email [email protected], even if you can’t access your account. Identify the member and describe the threats. A police report is not required to ask Cuddle for help.

When safe, preserve usernames, dates, and content locations. Don’t risk your safety to collect evidence. Never download, copy, or forward suspected child sexual abuse material. Don’t email intimate images, IDs, passwords, or payment credentials.

If you fear escalation or device monitoring, use a safer device to seek help from a trusted person or specialist. Blocking or unmatching can limit contact.

If intimate content depicting you appears on Cuddle without consent, follow the removal instructions in Community Guidelines Section 9.2.
