Cuddle may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, support, measure, and improve the Service.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files or identifiers that may be stored through your browser or device.
Similar technologies may include:
local or session storage;
pixels, tags, and scripts;
browser or device identifiers;
analytics and performance tools;
security and fraud-prevention tools;
checkout technologies; and
consent or preference-management tools.
These technologies may be provided by Cuddle or by service providers that help operate the Service.
Why does Cuddle use these technologies?
Cuddle may use cookies and similar technologies to:
keep you signed in and manage sessions;
remember account, language, and privacy settings;
operate profiles, Likes, Matches, and messaging;
protect accounts and detect suspicious activity;
prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized access;
support checkout, payment authentication, and receipts;
troubleshoot errors and measure performance;
operate reporting, support, and safety tools;
remember cookie and consent choices; and
comply with legal obligations.
Some technologies are reasonably necessary for the Service to operate securely.
What categories may Cuddle use?
Strictly necessary technologies
These support essential functionality such as:
page loading;
login and authentication;
sessions;
account settings;
security;
reporting and support tools;
privacy choices; and
checkout.
These technologies may remain active where permitted by law even when you limit optional technologies.
Security and payment-risk technologies
These may help identify:
suspicious logins;
account takeover;
spam or abuse;
unauthorized payment use;
payment-method testing;
fraud;
chargeback risk; or
other misuse.
Analytics and performance technologies
Where implemented, these may help Cuddle understand:
page and feature use;
navigation;
load times;
errors;
technical compatibility;
support and reporting flows;
checkout issues; and
general Service performance.
Analytics are used to operate and improve the Service, not to serve targeted advertising.
Preference and consent technologies
These may remember:
language and display settings;
cookie choices;
privacy choices;
communication preferences;
consent or withdrawal choices; and
legally recognized opt-out signals.
Does Cuddle use advertising cookies?
Cuddle does not currently:
sell personal information;
share personal information for targeted advertising;
use cookies to serve targeted advertising;
use cross-context behavioral advertising; or
retarget members across unrelated websites based on Cuddle activity.
Cuddle also does not use private-message content, sensitive personal information, account-review materials, or payment-related information for targeted advertising.
How can I manage cookies?
Depending on your browser, device, location, and applicable law, choices may be available through:
a Cuddle cookie banner or settings tool;
browser cookie and storage settings;
device or operating-system settings;
account or privacy settings;
communication preferences; or
another tool made available by Cuddle.
You may be able to accept, reject, limit, or withdraw consent for certain optional technologies.
A change generally applies going forward. It may not delete information already processed or records Cuddle is permitted or required to retain.
Does Cuddle recognize Global Privacy Control?
Where required by applicable law and technically feasible, Cuddle will process a valid Global Privacy Control or other legally recognized universal opt-out signal as required.
Because Cuddle does not currently sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, some signals may have limited practical effect on current practices.
Necessary processing for authentication, security, fraud prevention, payment-risk management, checkout, or legal compliance may continue where permitted by law.
What happens if I block or delete cookies?
Blocking or deleting cookies may affect:
login and session continuity;
saved settings;
cookie or privacy choices;
account security;
reporting or support tools;
checkout;
receipts;
Premium activation; or
other Service functionality.
If you clear cookies, change browsers or devices, or use private browsing, you may need to set your choices again.
Deleting browser cookies does not necessarily delete server-side security, transaction, consent, fraud-prevention, or other records retained under Cuddle’s Privacy Policy.
Do cookie choices cancel Premium or create a refund?
No.
Changing cookie or browser settings does not automatically:
cancel a Premium purchase;
create a refund;
reverse a charge;
exercise a statutory cancellation right;
delete your account; or
complete a privacy request.
